Mark Joeckel

Mark Joeckel has more than 20 years of experience in the Southeast leading community partnerships, overseeing vision statements, and doing team-building for organizations and companies throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. As Director of Brokerage Group & Marketing for SCM Real Estate, Joeckel’s lead responsibility is to leverage the firm’s reputation and industry strengths into continued growth in the marketplace.

Joeckel’s passion for redeveloping communities in changing and diverse communities has proved to be a valuable asset for SCM. Since joining SCM in 2006, Joeckel has been integrally involved in the firm’s revitalization projects throughout Central and Downtown Arlington and in South Fort Worth. His work centers around helping to make these projects thriving economic development achievements for the region.

Joeckel is also involved in recruiting and training for SCM, where he develops programs to align new agents with corporate goals. In addition, Joeckel is also responsible for leading marketing and public relations efforts for SCM, helping to build the right connections for SCM, make the company’s voice heard, and spread its vision and mission in the greater community.

Before coming to SCM, Joeckel worked in several management and marketing positions for public and private organizations in the DFW area. His work over the last 15 years has involved similar economic development and marketing projects in real estate hubs located in St. Louis, New Orleans, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington.

Aside from his professional affiliations, Joeckel’s work in the community is also regarded. His positions include serving as President of Hill Elementary Dad's Club, Board Member, The Levitt Pavilion and Board Member, Dallas Area Homeless Coalition. He is also very involved with Grace Lutheran Church in Central Arlington and is a mentor through The Gathering of Men in Dallas, Texas.

Joeckel earned a Communications degree from The University of Concordia in Austin and a Master’s Degree in Theology at Concordia Seminary.  A native of Arlington, Texas, Joeckel and his family remain in the area. His three children are Jordan 15, Hannah 12, and Christian 10.
